I have always been drawn to the human figure. Whether it be the simple lines, the form of muscle and bone structure or the natural life-giving beauty of the feminine, I feel myself in there in some way.

I have drawn the figure from life for many years and to now take what I see and put those drawings into paint, clay or even concrete sculpture has deepened my passion and my connection to more that what I see, but what I feel as well. What I see and feel when I draw has been able to take on roles and ideas otherwise not possible with just paper and pencil.

This is my passion, this is me. It is a journey that I am along for, enjoying the ride.
